Tahini is one of those dips or sauces that brings literally any dish alive, whether as a dip with vegetable sticks, with your grilled chicken or loosened with some water and drizzled over fish or salad as a dressing. It’s so damn versatile. Play with the quantities of garlic & lemon to get the taste you desire.
1 cup tahini (hulled!)
1-2 cloves garlic crushed
1 lemon juiced
pinch of cumin or as desired
salt to season
water to loosen the mixture
Let’s Cook
- In a blender/food processor add in garlic, tahini, 3 tbsp of
water, blend, add in ¼ of the lemon juice - You may need to adjust the ingredients to taste, it may go a
little hard to begin with but add water and keep blending till
smooth. - You can loosen it right out with more water to a dressing consistency, it’s up to you.
